Over this past Trumbauer Competition CORNER THEATRE Academy had fantastic results! Our hard work was greatly rewarded with 16 state placements! But its not all about winning, sure we like the trophies but that is not just it, at least not for me. I met a girl named Sarah; she is a playwright, but the surprising thing is that she is not in theatre. It was truly amazing to talk with her about her play and how she was able to create it. The people involved with Trumbauer inspire me to be better, to work harder because they are just as talented if not more so then I am. In this realization we, as a department, learn respect not only for the art but also for the people we work with - Malia Ahrens, CTA Playwright, Actor, & Scene Designer
